Pipeline Transporter™ Platform
High performance SAP application integration

Pipeline Transporter is a J2EE platform based on a foundation of open source and open standards technologies. The purpose of the Pipeline Transporter Platform is to make it as easy as possible for companies to interconnect non-SAP applications with SAP.

Pipeline transporter is comprised of three primary components:

• Pipeline Transporter Server
  The Pipeline Transporter Server takes care of all SAP connectivity, integration processing, job scheduling, and error management. It leverages SAP’s existing transaction and communication infrastructure. It is ideally deployed on SAP NetWeaver but can also be deployed on BEA WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, and Apache Tomcat.
  
• Integration Package
  Integration packages provide the "brains" of Pipeline Transporter integration solutions. They contain the data mappings, transformation rules and business logic that determine how a particular SAP module will interact with the targeted third party application.
  
  Organizations can develop their own integration packages using the Pipeline Transporter Development Studio or select an integration package developed by Pipeline and its business partners. View the current list of integration packages available from Pipeline.
  
  
• Pipeline Transporter Development Studio
  The Pipeline Transporter Developer Studio is used to create integration packages. This suite of tools makes developers highly productive by including automatic code generation, test harnesses, templates, code libraries, integration package samples and a simple browser-based administration console.
